Below is a list of the best funny games and activities for a new or established teams or groups. Release tension or promote the use of humor with these exciting games:
1. The Broom Dance
This dancing game is a really fun group activity. It's entertaining, ideal for breaking the ice and is fun to watch. You need: a broom and some good music!
Instruct everyone to find a dancing partner. You need an odd number of participants for this game, so one group member has to stand alone (temporarily). Say to the group that everyone has to start dancing when the music begins. The person standing alone has to pick up the broom and dance with it instead of a dancing partner. When the music stops, everyone has to search for a new dancing partner and so does the person with the broom. The new individual dancer has to pick up the broom again and start dancing until this sequence repeats. This game is so much fun to play in any group!
2. Stand up!
Cool group activity that involves team work, strength, strategy and perseverance. It's about helping eachother out and is ideal for team bonding.
Form pairs (three people are also ok) and let them sit on the ground, back to back. Instruct them to bend their knees and connect their elbows. On a countdown, each group has to stand up as quick as possible. When this goes well, make the circle bigger and bigger. Promote working together by instructing the group to stand up simultaneously!
3. Keep uppy
This fun group game is very simple and effective. You need: a feather or other very light object.
Make groups of around five people. Let them throw a feather in the air and instruct them to keep it in the air as long as possible. Only blowing with their mouths is allowed. When you have just one feather, use a stop-watch to measure the time each group can keep the feather in the air.
4. Baby Bottle Champion
This group activity is great for competitive teams and causes laughter almost right away. You need: some baby bottles
Give each group a full baby bottle. Let them choose the best baby bottle drinker that will represent them in this championship. Set it up as a 1v1 or a relay race.
5. Oranges
The oranges group game is really fun for all kinds of groups. You need: Oranges!
Instruct each group to stand in a straight line. They have to pass an orange by using only their chin and neck. When someone drops the orange, they'll have to start over!
